Day 1: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA

Arrival of the group in Perugia airport/railway station and private transfer to your accommodation
in lake Trasimeno area. Welcome drink with your hiking guide who will explain more information about the upcoming days.
Welcome dinner with a fantastic menu with km 0 products. You will taste all the best flavours of our land: fish, meat, cured meat, oil, handmade pasta with the best wine of our typical production.

Day 2: Experiences around TRASIMENO LAKE AREA

After breakfast meeting with your hiking guide in Hotel lobby and departure by private transfer for
first to discover the Lake Trasimeno area. Paciano-Pausillo-Panicale. Around 11 km.
Arrival in Panicale and time at leisure to discover the beauty of this old village overlooking the lake and the valley. The main square is really enchanting and it is the best place for a glas of wine or a coffee or a lunch with typical local products.
Private transfer back to the hotel. Time at leisure. Dinner in Hotel.

Day 3: Experiences around TRASIMENO LAKE AREA 

After breakfast private transfer to Passignano Jetty to board the ferry to Maggiore Island. The
wonderful tiny island in the middle of the lake has a long fascinating history and many secrets to tell. During middle age it was the heart of fish production in central Italy and the village counted more than 800 people.
Nowadays only 7 people still live on the island and the elderly ladies are the silent guardians of a tradition that is now being lost, the Irish lace, still worked according to the old rule along the main street of the island. We will then visit the small church of San Michele Arcangelo full of ancient frescoes that tell the central role of this island in medieval mysticism. Time for the lunch in one of the cozy restaurants offering fresh lake fish.
In the early afternoon back to the hotel. Time for relax before a new hiking excursion to enjoy the wonderful sunset. Lake Trasimeno is famous for the amazing and dazzling colors of its sunsets in every season. The sky lights up with all colors and offers truly unforgettable images, immortalized by photographers and painters. We will observe the sunset from one of the most panoramic places on the lake after a short but exciting walk with the hiking guide, from San Feliciano to Monte del Lago. Dinner in Hotel.

Day 4: Experiences around TRASIMENO LAKE AREA and departure

after breakfast departure for a new excursion to discover the beautiful crests beyond Passignano,
up to Castel Rigone. Valleys, flowery hills, castles, hamlets and the splendid panorama of the lake, this walk offers truly unforgettable moments and a peaceful enchanted atmosphere! About 12 km.
Arrival in Castel Rigone and time for a coffee and to enjoy the view. Transfer to a wine estate in the area of Magione where you will taste the best wines of local production. Departure.
