Day 1: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA

Arrival in the Trasimeno area and accommodation in your hotel/agriturismo included in the “TrasimenEmotion” program.
Welcome drink with the best delicacies and products of the lake.
Following, a typical dinner is waiting for you with a delicious menu based on lake fish dishes accompanied by fine wines and the typical Torta al testo, fragrant bread that is cooked in the ash.
The dinner will be an itinerary through time and places of the Trasimeno thanks to traditional dishes and ancient recipes.

Day 2: Excursion to SAN FELICIANO and return

To start discovering the area today we offer you a fun fishing excursion on the lake with the San Feliciano fishermen. Lots of local color and a truly enchanting landscape where sky and water meet! On the way back, tasting of local specialties and fried fish in foil (according to season).
In the afternoon visit to two of the most interesting and innovative cellars of the DOC del Trasimeno for the discovery of the most representative indigenous vines and the enological products of the area. Rich tastings and lots of fun to get to know the warmth of the people of Trasimeno.
Dinner with Chianina meat specialties in a typical restaurant (3-course menu, drinks not included).

Day 3: Excursion to CITTA' DELLA PIEVE and return

The morning is dedicated to the discovery of a village of exceptional beauty, Città della Pieve, famous for the intriguing maze of alleys including the famous Vicolo Baciadonne but also for having given birth to the painter Pietro Vannucci, known as Perugino, one of the most representative protagonists of the Italian Renaissance. Fun walk to get lost in the alleys in the different marked itineraries and at the end time to taste many specialties based on Saffron, one of the typical products of the area.
In the afternoon free time for shopping of typical products and not only in the historical center of Castiglione del Lago with the possibility of visiting the Palazzo del Duca della Corgna, which preserves splendid frescoed rooms from the 16th century.

Day 4: Excursion to TUORO SUL TRASIMENO and departure

Rich breakfast before visiting the mythical places of the battle of Hannibal against the Roman army in 217 BC in Tuoro, a panoramic village on the north coast of the lake.
Before leaving our territory here is a wonderful opportunity to taste and buy the excellent Umbrian extra virgin olive oil in a truly innovative oil mill. Extra virgin olive oil is one of the most representative products of Umbria and in the lake area some typical cultivars give life to a truly unparalleled product for acidity, organoleptic and chemical characteristics in general as well as for the flavour.
