Day 1: PERUGIA

Day 2: PERUGIA 

After a healthy breakfast your driver will take you to the center of Perugia. Meeting with your guide who will take you to discover the most interesting and less touristic spots of the international capital city of Umbria!
Lunch in a local restaurant offering typical traditional Perugia cuisine. In the afternoon chocolate experience; private tasting in an old chocolate shop to appreciate the heady taste of chocolate.

Day 3: MONTEFALCO and BEVAGNA

Today you will experience the magnificent colours of Umbria Foliage in the area of Sagrantino Wine Road. This special grape has a peculiarity: in autumn its leaves turns into red, pink, orange, carmine and rust! It is an incredible show that attracts fotographers, hikers and wine lovers.
Your driver will take you to Montefalco to visit the church-museum of Saint Francis where are preserved sumptuous frescos of master Benozzo Gossoli. Finally, a nice walk in the vineyards and a surf into a the real taste of this precious wine, the Sagrantino.
Second stop will be in Bevagna to visit to the amazing Borgo, wine town and roman town. Visit to the medieval craft workshops for a real dip into medieval and renaissance time.

Day 4: TRUFFLES EXPERIENCE and ASSISI

Autumn is also truffles time. Today your driver will take you on the mountains overlooking Valle umbra for the truffle hunt with dog. The truffle master will take you on moores and wood for a short and easy walk where you will be breath the exciting atmosphere of digging out truffles.
Than, back to the landhouse, you will learn how to clean them and cook for your delicious lunch.
In the afternoon stop in Assisi for visiting the cathedral of Saint Francis where you will also have the chance of meeting a real friar who will tell you about the life of the monastic order founded by St. Francis and about living in a world famous monastery.

Day 5: OLIVE OIL EXPERIENCE and TRASIMENO LAKE

Autumn is also extra virgin olive oil time. Visit to one of the traditional oil mills that produce the Green Gold of Umbria, the precious EVO; here you will also take a nice walk in the centuries-old olive grove before tasting the freshly squeezed new oil on the toasted Tuscan bread with our selections of extra virgin olive oil. To better learn about this local delicacy you will have a guided tour in the Museum dedicated to the history of Oil in Umbria. The tradition in fact is very old and dates back to the Etruscans who first started to cultivate olives to extract oil.
At lunch time you can enjoy the most traditional local delicacies for exploring the rich world of flavours of Umbria.
To close the day in the best way, you will enjoy one of the famous sunsets of Lake Trasimeno. The Umbria Lake is famous all over for the magic colours of its sunsets, especially in autumn, when the air is clear.

Day 6: DERUTA and DEPARTURE

Time at leisure for the shopping of local fine wine or Deruta Ceramics or cashmere clothing or delicacies before departure.
