Walking around the Trasimeno Lake is a 4-day self-guided hiking adventure that immerses you in the serene landscapes of Central Italy.
Suitable for individuals or small groups, with or without a hiking guide, this trek allows you to explore picturesque villages, rolling hills, and lush vineyards at your own pace. Highlights include a gourmet dinner featuring local cuisine, a wine tasting at a scenic estate, and stunning views of the lake from ancient castles and timeless hamlets.
With the lake always in the background and the sounds of nature accompanying you, this medium-level trek covers approximately 27 km and is perfect for hikers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts!

Day 1: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA
Arrival in Lake Trasimeno area with your own car/bus or with the transfer provided by UmbriAction. Accommodation in Hotel or Agriturismo! Overnights in hotel.
Day 2: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA
First hiking excursion: the itinerary starts in Hotel! Heading west the track will take you downhill, skirting meadows and scrub composed mainly of turkey oaks, junipers, shrubs and Spanish broom! Here we are surrounded by rolling hills decorated with ancient castles and small villages out of time.
Special dinner with local gourmet cousine in restaurant.

Day 3: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA
Second walking excursion: The starting point for this itinerary is the main square of Passignano. This fishermen's village deserves a visit before starting your hike! Our route immediately affords sweeping views of the lake. Arrival in Poggio del Belveduto that is the ideal place for a picnich. We go along the belvedere and descend towards Rigonella.

Day 4: TRASIMENO LAKE AREA
After your breakfast nice and easy walk in the vineyards of a wine estate before visiting the wine cellar for a tasting of local delicacies and wines close to lake! Wine tasting!
