Itis not the windiest of the Italian lakes but it can offer exciting experiences, mainly slalomthanks to the intensity of the wind and the shallow depth of the water (maximum 6-7 meters).
Most frequent and stronger winds are Tramontana and Scirocco but windsurfing with the Ponente in Passignano is truly priceless.
Anyway there are several places to surf around the lake. And if you love the Stand Up Paddling you are again in the right place.

Day 1: TRASIMENO LAKE
Arrival and private transfer to the Lake Trasimeno Coast.
Accommodation in your preferred Hotel/Agriturismo on the lake shores, welcome drink in a typical wine estate including wine and local delicacies.
Day 2: Experiences on TRASIMENO LAKE
After breakfast time to visit the old castle and the fortress in Castiglione del Lago.
The afternoon it is the best time for riding the waves on the lake because of the perfect wind. Evening, dinner in a local restaurant with typical lake fish.
Day 3: Experiences on TRASIMENO LAKE
After breakfast you will enjoy a nice hike on the hills beyond Passignano. You will have an easy but exciting walk on the crest of the hills overlooking the lake with our hiking guide.
Stop for a special lunch in a farm for tasting one of the most typical of local dishes, a kind of bread cooked in the wood fire with ash and stuffed with traditional ham or cheese or salami, herbs.
In the afternoon time for the kite/windsurf. Aperitiv at sunset to celebrate your holiday on the lake!
Day 4: Experiences on TRASIMENO LAKE and departure
After breakfast you will have a new excursion in Città della Pieve to visit this wonderful village that is the hometown to one of the most important among renaissance painters of Italy, Pietro Vannucci “The Perugino”.
You will have a nice walk on the alleys of the hamlet; one of this narrow streets is named “baciadonne” (kiss the women) because it is so narrow that 2 people cannot walk together without…kissing each other!
Farewell lunch in a typical local restaurant for tasting the delicacies of local cuisine. Departure.
